Licensing Agreement

FOR MY FAMILY BRANCHES DIGITAL PRODUCTS

By purchasing and downloading any of My Family Branches templates, you (the “Licensee”) are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the digital products (the “Templates”) in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement. 

1. Permitted Uses:
• Personal use:
You may use the templates for your personal, non-commercial projects. This includes creating personal family history books, photo albums, and other similar projects.
• Modification:
You may customize and modify the templates to suit your personal needs.

2. Prohibited Uses:
• Resale and redistribution:
You may not resell, redistribute, share, or transfer the templates, either in their original form or as modified by you, to any third party.
• Commercial use:
You may not use the templates for any commercial purpose without prior written permission from My Family Branches. This includes but is not limited to, using the templates in products for sale, creating derivative works for sale, or any other form of commercial exploitation.
• Public display:
You may not publicly display the templates without giving proper attribution to My Family Branches.

3. Attribution:
If you publicly share any project that uses these templates (e.g., on social media, blogs, websites), you must give credit to My Family Branches by including a visible link to myfamilybranches.site or mentioning My Family Branches in the credits.

4. Intellectual Property Rights:
All rights, title, and interest in and to the templates, including all intellectual property rights, are and will remain the exclusive property of My Family Branches. This license grants you permission to use the templates but does not transfer ownership or intellectual property rights from My Family Branches to you.

5. Termination of License:
This license remains effective until terminated. My Family Branches reserves the right to terminate your license immediately if you breach any terms or conditions outlined in this agreement. Upon termination, you must immediately stop using the templates and destroy all existing copies in both printed and electronic formats.        

6. Disclaimer of Warranties:
The templates are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

7. Limitation of Liability:
In no event shall My Family Branches be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, lost profits, business interruption, or lost information) arising out of your use of or inability to use the templates.

8. Governing Law: This agreement shall be governed by and construed by the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

9. Entire Agreement: This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and My Family Branches regarding the templates’ use. It supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
